Half-hourly service between Flums and Flumserberg

Between 20 December 2025 and 8 March 2026, the route between Flums, railway station and Flumserberg, Tannenboden will be served every 30 minutes.

• from Flums: 6.00 to 19.00 at 30-minutes intervals
• from Flumserberg: 6.30 to 19.30 at 30-minutes intervals

In Flums there are existing connections to:

• the IR35 towards Zurich
• the S17 towards Ziegelbrücke-Rapperswil

Free travel: From 13 December 2025 to 6 April 2026, all passengers can use the route from Flumserberg, Bergheim to Flumserberg, Tannenboden and back free of charge.

On the following dates (Fridays and Saturdays), an additional PostBus will operate for you at 22.45 from Flumserberg, Tannenboden to Flums, railway station.

In Flums there are existing connections to:

The bus operates year-round at half-hour intervals during peak hours between Flums, railway station and Flumserberg, Tannenboden:

• Morning: 6.00 to 08.00
• Evening: 16.00 to 19.30

On the Sargans – Flumserberg route, Postbuses are equipped with a rear rack for bicycle transport. A reservation is required for transporting bicycles.

The affected connections are marked accordingly in the online timetable.

The reservation requirement applies during the summer season, which at PostBus generally lasts from early May to October. The reservation costs Fr. 2.00 and can be made via the online timetable or at the SBB ticket counter. This amount covers an entire journey, for example, from St. Gallen to Flumserberg, Tannenheim, including travel by train and Postbus.
