Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG
Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG operates 17 lift and cable car facilities and 65 km of easy, medium and demanding ski runs. This makes it the largest cable car company in Eastern Switzerland. 30 % of the slopes are equipped with a total of 69 snow guns. The vehicle fleet on Flumserberg consists of about 50 vehicles, including 17 snow groomers, off-road and passenger vehicles, and small vehicles. In addition to the various winter sports, a wide variety of leisure activities attract visitors in summer. And the range of offers has been continuously expanded in recent years: The FLOOMZER summer toboggan run, the CLiiMBER climbing tower and 13 km of BikerTrails all ensure plenty of fun on Flumserberg.
The group of Flumserberg Bergbahnen AG comprises far more than just the cable car and lift facilities. In addition, there are six culinary establishments and five sports shops. The six company-owned restaurants are: Prodalp mountain restaurant, Panoramarestaurant Maschgenkamm, COLORS – Restaurant and Bar, Chrüz mountain restaurant, Prodkamm mountain inn, Alprestaurant Panüöl and Gruebhütte. The four locations of the INTERSPORT Network Flumserberg including the BikerShop Flumserberg are located in Tannenboden, Tannenheim, Prodalp and Unterterzen.
Flumserberg Bergbahnen AG employs 160 people every winter. If you include the company-owned restaurants and sports shops of Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG, this number jumps up to a total of 350 employees. The consolidated annual revenue amounts to about CHF 28 million. All this makes Bergbahnen Flumserberg one of the largest and most important employers in the region.
The strategic management of the company is the responsibility of the Board of Directors of Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG. The Executive Board is responsible for the operational management of the company in accordance with the strategic guidelines of the Board of Directors.
