Groups and school groups on Flumserberg

Enjoy summer together!

5 ideas for joint adventures in the mountains

The more, the merrier! Groups and school groups are welcome guests on Flumserberg. Hiking or biking, swimming or summer tobogganing, with or without an overnight stay: There are no limits to your creativity when it comes to group excursions. But what makes a visit to Flumserberg particularly attractive for groups? Among other things, the special group rates and combo tickets (DE) for the mountain railways, the FLOOMZER summer toboggan run, the CLiiMBER climbing tower and unique offers for bike fans. We recommend spending the night at the Alpenlodge Prod group accommodation.

You would like to visit Flumserberg with several people? How about one of the following 5 ideas for group excursions, which you will remember for a long time to come:

First hiking, then summer tobogganing

1. A hike to Chrüz via Lake Seebensee

While hiking on Flumserberg, you can combine picturesque lake views with summer tobogganing fun – on a hike along the trail from Tannenboden via Seebenalp to Chrüz. Enjoy nature with every step, marvel at the stunning scenic views of Lake Seebensee with the Churfirsten mountains behind it, and take a break at Chrüz Mountain Restaurant. A descent on the FLOOMZER summer toboggan run will be the icing on the cake of your eventful day on Flumserberg.

Exploring a UNESCO World Heritage site

2. A hike along the GeoGallery

Exercise in fresh mountain air and gaining valuable knowledge and insights: Hiking along the GeoGallery trail on Flumserberg is a perfect opportunity to discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Tectonic Arena Sardona. 15 different stations across a total length of 4 km provide fascinating insights into the impressive powers at work during the formation of the Alps.

The start of the trail is at Maschgenkamm mountain station. From there, the family-friendly high-altitude route leads you to Maschgenlücke and on to Prodkamm mountain station. Good to know: The GeoGallery’s section around Ziger is suitable for baby buggies.

A perfect combo

3. Swimming at Lake Walen and hiking on Flumserberg

Flumserberg lies high above Lake Walen – so a group excursion is the perfect occasion to visit both. First hiking, then swimming, or vice versa: The conditions are ideal for this! Lake Walen is located in Unterterzen. From there, the 8-seater gondola SeeJet takes you to Tannenboden. You can either start your hike at this point or take the 8-seater gondola BergJet to Maschgenkamm. In 25 minutes, it takes you from the idyllic bathing lido to your hike at 2020 m above sea level.

Comfortably uphill – swiftly downhill

4. A day with the FLOOMZER Heidi Ticket

A special tip for enjoyable hours in a group is the FLOOMZER Heidi Ticket. It includes the ascents by cable car (BergJet or Prodalp-Express) and on the Prodkamm chairlift. How about a walk to Chrüz Mountain Restaurant afterwards?

After a snack and some refreshments, you can take the FLOOMZER toboggan run back to Tannenboden. The descent on the summer toboggan run is included in the ticket price.

Group fun on two wheels

5. Action-packed bike adventures on Flumserberg

Groups and school groups who prefer to be out and about on two wheels can look forward to a variety of offers geared to their wishes. BikerTrails or guided bike tours: There is something for every taste on Flumserberg! Rental bikes for kids and adults are available in the BikerShop Flumserberg at the Prodalp-Express valley station in Tannenheim – or at the INTERSPORT Network Flumserberg locations.
